On 22 September 2026, reporters noted that social media was discussing the wristwatch worn by Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat Prompao, a party-list member of the House of Representatives and leader of the Kla Tham Party, which appears to be the same CASIO watch model as Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul wears. The back of the watch is engraved with “Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister” and his full name in English, “Anutin Charnvirakul,” leading to speculation after photos emerged about whether this implies any political meaning amid rumors of Kla Tham's coalition participation.
