A royal decree has appointed Kowit Sripairoj as the new Attorney General, effective from 1 October 2026.
On 22 September 2026, the Government Gazette website published a Senate announcement regardingthe appointment of a public prosecutor official.The content states that a royal decree has graciously appointed Mr. Kowit Sripairoj, Deputy Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General, to serve as Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General, effective from 1 October 2026.
The announcement was made on 22 September 2026.
The royal command was endorsed by
Mr. Mongkol Surasajja, President of the Senate.
Mr. Kowit Sripairoj is the 21st Attorney General, succeeding Mr. Itthiporn Kaewthip, who was the 20th Attorney General.
