"Lawyer Tum" stormed the Parliament dressed as Detective Conan, driving a sports car to mock "Gun the Mighty," brandishing a powder can to demand the disabled lottery quota and sharing a story about a security guard involved in money laundering.
At 13:00 on 24 Sep 2026 at the Parliament, Mr. Sittha Biebphangkerd, or Lawyer Tum, secretary of the People's Lawyer Team Foundation, came to provide information to the Subcommittee on Human Security and Benefit System Reform for Veterans, Disabled, and Vulnerable Groups of the House of Representatives. He dressed as the young detective Conan, wearing magnifying glasses, and drove a red Nissan GT-R (R35) sports car, mocking the luxury Lamborghini driven by Gun the Mighty. Before giving an interview, Lawyer Tum took a powder can from his suit to show the media, saying, "My boss must be free, because he’s neither opposition nor government side. My boss, named 'Paeng,' protects my head every day." He then kissed the powder can for the cameras and added, "Today, I come as detective Conan to find the truth. Whoever stole the disabled lottery tickets must be found. I came in this red car—not a Lamborghini, but I guarantee the kit is genuine, unlike someone’s Lamborghini with fake parts and suspended registration."
Mr. Sittha continued, "I’m here to provide information about the disabled lottery tickets. I want to fix the system’s structural problems so disabled people don’t have to beg for donations. They can earn a living by themselves. I talked with 500 disabled people fighting alongside me. They want to work independently and receive lottery quotas to support themselves. I have a story about a security guard who stole disabled lottery tickets—about 200,000 tickets per draw, totaling 400,000 per month. He cooperated with an online lottery seller who, if someone won 10 tickets worth 60 million baht, would pay in cash without deducting tax. This security guard then sold the tickets to online gambling sites and scammers to launder money. By reselling, they gained an extra 20%—from 60 million to 72 million baht—earning a 12 million baht difference, some of which was donated in small amounts here and there."
"Before, people respected—not the security guard but Khun Noom Kanphai. But today, Khun Noom Kanphai is out of the inner circle, which is why things have gotten so messy," Mr. Sittha said.
When asked whether revealing 'Paeng' to the public meant he had insider information, Lawyer Tum said, "Coming to this honorable Parliament without backing is impossible. Otherwise, it would be like lawyer Thammarat, whom SK Rabbit hired people to attack. I’m afraid too, so I brought my boss along. Being close to him makes me feel secure so no one hires people to attack me during interviews." When pressed on who this boss is, Lawyer Tum showed the powder can to the media and said, "This is my boss, Crazy Power. Today, he’s wearing blue, but usually wears green. Now he’s thinking whether to join blue or another color. He’s still confused about his life. When he figures it out, he’ll know."
Asked if his statements linked to politics had hidden agendas, Lawyer Tum said no, though it seemed like a party waiting to join government. Asked if he was afraid, he said if he were, he wouldn’t come out. Asked if he had influential backers, Lawyer Tum said, "I have none. I even stopped associating with Big Joke. My real backing is disabled people across the country who encourage and support me, as well as the public who agree with me." He added that he would coordinate with the Ministry of Labor to help disabled people find employment. Today, he discussed the disabled lottery quota issue, which also involved the Veterans Organization. When asked if there was hope for the security guard to release the lottery quota, Lawyer Tum joked, "Today, let’s talk about snakehead fish, which Thais love. But after snakehead fish, Thais won’t get to eat because it’s about bricks, stones, cement, and sand that reached my ears."
