The Social Security Office advises all insured persons, including both employers and employees, to verify their voting rights and polling locations ahead of the Social Security Board election on Sunday, 27 Sep 2026, from 08:00 to 16:00. Prepare your documents in advance. Each voter may select up to 7 candidate numbers.
On 25 Sep 2026, the Social Security Office issued a notice inviting employers and employees under the social security system not to forget to exercise their voting rights in the Social Security Board election on Sunday, 27 September 2026, between 08:00 and 16:00. Before voting, remember to check your polling location and prepare your documents to ensure a smooth and proper voting process.
You may present any one of the following identification documents:
• National identification card
• Driver’s license
• ThaiD application
• DLT application
Or any card/document containing a photo and a 13-digit citizen ID number.
Evidence required for employer representatives of legal entities
In the case of employer representatives who are legal entities, additional documents as specified must be presented.
Voting procedure
1️⃣ Present your identification documents to the election committee at the polling station.
2️⃣ Receive the ballot for the insured representatives (“pink” for employees) or the employer representatives (“blue” for employers).
3️⃣ Enter the voting booth and mark the candidate numbers according to the prescribed criteria.
4️⃣ Fold the ballot and personally deposit it into the ballot box.
