Nattapong visited Wat Khlong San School to discuss with youth about building safe schools and raising awareness of risky behaviors and violence, gathering information to use in parliamentary debates.
On 25 Sep 2026 GMT+7 at Wat Khlong San School (Phrom Uthit Wittayakarn) in Phra Samut Chedi District, Samut Prakan Province, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, Leader of the Opposition in the House of Representatives, presided over the opening ceremony of the Leader of the Opposition Meets the People Project for fiscal year 2026. He delivered a special lecture titled “Youth Join to Create Safe Schools: Awareness of Risk Behaviors and Violence.” Present were Ms. Nattaya Boonpakdee, Mr. Boonlert Saengphan, and Ms. Panida Mongkonsawat, Members of Parliament from the Prachachon Party, along with school administrators, teachers, and students from Wat Khlong San School (Phrom Uthit Wittayakarn).
The objective was to provide an opportunity for the Leader of the Opposition and opposition party MPs to learn about the facts and issues surrounding risky behaviors, violence, and factors affecting safety in educational institutions. The information will be used to support consultations, debates in the House of Representatives, submission of questions, motions, bills, or legislative amendments.
Additionally, it provided a chance for stakeholders to participate in designing environments and mechanisms conducive to creating safe schools.
