Siripong, Deputy Minister of Transport, announced the locations of 9 park-and-ride buildings at BTS stations under the responsibility of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA). These are open for the public to park vehicles from today (26 Sep) until 2 Oct 2026 to alleviate hardship during the flood situation.
At 09:50 on 26 September 2026, reporters reported that Mr. Siripong Angsakulkiat, Deputy Minister of Transport, revealed information on parking facilities in Bangkok and its vicinity under the management of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) amid heavy rain and flooding. He stated that the heavy rain has caused flooding and public hardship, so measures are being taken to ease the difficulties for the public.
MRTA is allowing the public to park vehicles at its park-and-ride buildings from today (26 Sep) until Friday, 2 October 2026, as follows:
1. Ladprao Station Park-and-Ride Building (Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line)
2. Lak Song Station Park-and-Ride Building (Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line)
3. Khlong Bang Phai Station Park-and-Ride Building (Chalong Ratchatham Line)
4. Bang Rak Noi Tha It Station Park-and-Ride Building (Chalong Ratchatham Line)
5. Sam Yaek Bang Yai Station Park-and-Ride Building (Chalong Ratchatham Line)
6. Yaek Nonthaburi 1 Station Park-and-Ride Building (Chalong Ratchatham Line)
7. Khlong Ban Ma Station Park-and-Ride Building (Orange Line)
8. Khae Rai Station Park-and-Ride Building (Green Line)
9. Khu Khot Station Park-and-Ride Building (Green Line)
Users wishing to park must present photographic evidence and proof of vehicle ownership to the building staff.
