On 26 September 2026, Decharat Sukgamnoed, Director of the Think Forward Center of the Prachachon Party, expressed concern over flooding in the eastern region. He noted that persistent accumulated rain is expected from tomorrow through Monday, likely intensifying the flood situation. He urged residents in at-risk areas to prepare and called on government agencies to rapidly mobilize equipment and shelters to assist affected people.
Meanwhile, the Prachachon Party’s eastern team announced the establishment of a flood relief coordination center at the office of Rayong District 1 MP Kamnathorson Kittisunsornskul. The center will accept donations of food, seasonings, and essential supplies from 26 to 29 September 2026 to support affected communities.
Regarding flooding in Bangkok, Ekrach Udomamnuay, Prachachon Party MP for Bangkok and Chair of the Military Commission, is coordinating closely with MPs, councilors, and district directors in Bangkok. They are working alongside security agencies including Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Adul Boonthamcharoen, Air Chief Marshal Sekson Kantha, Lt. Gen. Chayaporn Wirirat of the Military Civil Affairs Department, and Brig. Gen. Anumas Pinitchob to request support of personnel, high-clearance vehicles, and rescue boats to assist residents in flooded areas.
The key current mission is to urgently evacuate patients, elderly individuals, and vulnerable groups from flooded homes to safe locations as quickly as possible.
