Captain Thammanat led the Kla Tham Party in opening a kitchen and dry food donation center, mobilizing MPs to assist residents affected by flooding in Bangkok, the metropolitan area, and Nakhon Nayok.
On 27 September 2026 GMT+7 Captain Thammanat Phromphao, a party-list Member of Parliament (MP) and leader of the Kla Tham Party, together with MPs and Kla Tham Party members such as Monthisa Chayaban, MP for Chiang Rai; Dachai Ekpatphee, MP for Lampang; Orathai Kerdsap; Wongakeu Boonsol, MP for Sakon Nakhon; Sirapop Somphol, MP for Sakon Nakhon; Promet Jina, MP for Surat Thani; and Paweena Hongskul, advisor to the party leader, joined in opening the kitchen and dry food donation center to prepare for aiding those affected by flooding.
The Kla Tham Party and the Thammanat Phromphao Foundation have prepared a kitchen, rice, dry food, and essential items to cook meals and collect supplies for distribution in flood-affected areas of Bangkok, its metropolitan region, and Nakhon Nayok Province. Operations started on 27 September 2026, with MPs, party members, and local teams mobilized to assess community needs and promptly deliver aid continuously.
Captain Thammanat said that due to the flooding impacting people's livelihoods, Kla Tham Party and the Thammanat Phromphao Foundation aim to provide urgent assistance, especially food, drinking water, and daily essentials, which are crucial for residents unable to resume normal life.
“What we can do today is to help our fellow citizens as quickly as possible. We have prepared the kitchen and rice to be delivered directly to those suffering. Assistance is not limited to food preparation; we coordinate with MPs and local teams to survey community needs and continuously send necessary items to affected areas, ensuring help reaches those impacted as comprehensively and swiftly as possible.”
