The Constitutional Court will hold the originally scheduled ruling reading on the barcode-QR code election ballot case on 28 Sep, with a live online broadcast starting from 2:00 PM.
On 27 September 2026 at 7:00 PM, the Constitutional Court Office released a statement that the court has scheduled oral arguments, deliberations, and voting in the barcode-QR code election ballot case on Monday, 28 September 2026, at 8:30 AM.
The court also scheduled the ruling announcement for the same day at 2:00 PM. Subsequently, the Cabinet resolved on 27 September 2026 to declare 28 September 2026 as a special public holiday.
However, since the Constitutional Court had set the case hearing and ruling dates well in advance and informed the parties involved, to adhere to the original schedule and to avoid impacting the calendar for other case hearings, which are planned through October 2026, it is necessary to proceed with the oral arguments, deliberations, voting, and ruling announcement as originally scheduled, in accordance with Section 29 of the Constitutional Court Procedure Act B.E. 2561 (2018).
