Prime Minister Anutin is monitoring the flooding at Khlong Chan Housing Estate and has boarded a boat to distribute food, drinking water, and consumer goods to flood victims. The water level remains above one meter.
At 18:00 on 27 September 2026 at Khlong Chan Housing Estate, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul along with Pol. Gen. Samran Nuanma, Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, Energy Minister Aknat Promphan, Permanent Secretary of the Interior Ministry Arthit Sampantharat, officials from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), and related personnel jointly visited the area. They brought three volunteer rescue boats loaded with food, drinking water, and consumer supplies to distribute to flood-affected residents stranded at Khlong Chan Housing Estate to alleviate their hardship.
In addition to Pol. Gen. Samran, the visit included Pol. Lt. Gen. Nopasil Poolsawat, Commander of the Office of the Police Commissioner, Pol. Lt. Gen. Siam Boonsom, Commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Pol. Maj. Gen. Siriwat Deepo, Commander of the Special Operations Division 1, Pol. Maj. Gen. Worawit Yannajinda, Commander of the Patrol and Special Operations Division, Pol. Maj. Gen. Kampanat Arunkhiriroj, Commander of Police Division 4, Pol. Maj. Gen. Kiattikul Sonthien, Commander of Police Division 2, and many other police officers.
Reporters noted that floodwaters at Khlong Chan Housing Estate remain above one meter. Many residents’ cars parked under the buildings have been submerged, with several completely underwater up to the roofs, causing extensive damage.
