The Prachachon Party set up a special kitchen and used boats to navigate floodwaters in the Bang Kapi, Lat Phrao, Ramkhamhaeng, and Krungthep Kreetha areas, deploying nine teams into red zones to deliver food and supplies directly to residents.
On 28 September 2026 GMT+7, reporters stated that from the evening of 27 September until the early morning of 28 September, the Prachachon Party mobilized leaders and MPs, led by party leader Nattapong Ruangpanyawut and deputy secretary Piyarat Janthep, along with party staff, to distribute food and drinking water. They quickly established a special kitchen to prepare fresh meals, boxed rice, drinking water, and essential supplies before boarding boats to assist residents in severely flooded areas of Bang Kapi, Lat Phrao, Ramkhamhaeng, and Krungthep Kreetha—designated critical red zones of Bangkok with very high flood levels.
Field surveys revealed that residents’ distress was critical, with floodwaters reaching from knee to chest height in many spots. Numerous condominiums, dormitories, and flats had been without electricity and running water for 2–3 days. Convenience stores were out of stock, and residents were unable to use toilets. Many people remained trapped inside buildings, especially vulnerable groups such as the elderly, bedridden patients, sick young children, and pets who could not wade through the water. The most urgently needed items included food, boxed meals, clean drinking water, black plastic bags for waste, treatments for water-damaged feet, allergy medicine, and sandbags. To ensure aid reached the hardest-hit areas, Prachachon Party teams divided into nine groups to cover red zones at the following locations:
Location 1: Happy Land zone - Sena Villa Village 84
Location 2: Sri Burapha Road - Nawamin - Seri Thai zone
Location 3: Khlong Chan flats zone (many buildings still severely lacking water and food)
Location 4: Lat Phrao 101 zone
Location 5: Lat Phrao 87 zone
Location 6: Odd-numbered Lat Phrao soi zone (sois 91, 93, 107, 109, 115, 121; notably at Lat Phrao 107 near Rattana Bundit University, where over 700 students are trapped in dormitories)
Location 7: Even-numbered Lat Phrao soi zone (sois 114, 130, 132, 134; especially at Lat Phrao 130, where several condominiums and hotels face severe crises with no electricity or food for several days)
Location 8: Huamak - Krungthep Kreetha zone
Location 9: Ramkhamhaeng zone (sois 26/2, 62, 64, 65; Suan Son Village; Samakkhi Pattana Community; Bang Kapi School shelter; and Silpahat Crafts School shelter)
Party leaders and team members in all affected areas remain on site continuously, working to deliver food, drinking water, and essential supplies directly to residents still trapped in their homes. They also offer encouragement and stand in solidarity with Bangkok residents until the situation returns to normal.
