Abhisit leads the Democrat Party and the M.R. Seni Pramoj Foundation in mobilizing efforts to urgently pack relief bags to help alleviate the suffering of Bangkok residents facing a citywide flood crisis.
At 09:00 on 28 September 2026 at the Democrat Party headquarters, Abhisit Vejjajiva, party leader, led the party's executive committee, MPs, former MPs, candidates, local councilors, and party staff—including Chuan Leekpai, party-list MP and former party leader; Sakoltee Phattiyakul, deputy party leader; Anucha Burapachaisri, former Bangkok gubernatorial candidate—along with volunteers from the M.R. Seni Pramoj Foundation to collectively pack relief bags containing essential consumables and drinking water. The aim was to quickly distribute these to residents affected by flooding in Bangkok. Since early morning, the party has delivered relief bags to residents suffering from floods in Min Buri and Prawet districts and plans to distribute more in Don Mueang district in the afternoon.
Pongsakorn Kwanmuang, spokesperson for the Democrat Party, stated that the party, together with the M.R. Seni Pramoj Foundation, will continue mobilizing all resources to distribute aid to Bangkok residents across various districts continuously until the flood situation eases and returns to normal.
