The Social Security Office (SSO) requests employers and insured persons to check their names and polling locations. Those eligible but not listed or without polling places can add or remove names from now until 30 September 2026.
On 28 September 2026, the Social Security Office’s Facebook page posted that due to flooding, the Election Commission resolved to postpone the nationwide Social Security Board election to Sunday, 11 October 2026. This allows employers and insured persons to prepare by verifying the voters’ list and polling locations. They are urged to check eligibility and polling locations via the SSO website www.sso.go.th, through e-Service (for employers) and e-Self Service (for insured persons), as well as the SSO Plus app and Line @ssothai, or contact any Social Security office nationwide.
For employers and insured persons who are eligible but whose names or polling locations do not appear—such as missing polling places on the eligibility and polling location check system, website, or other SSO channels,
the Social Security Office has opened channels for employers and insured persons to add or remove names as follows:
- From Monday, 28 September to Wednesday, 30 September 2026, those wishing to add or remove names can visit Social Security offices in all districts and provinces nationwide, or call 0 2956 2929 (Election Management Center) during official hours. The hotline 1506 press 9 is available 24 hours daily, and requests can also be submitted via the Social Security Office’s Line inbox at line@ssothai.
- From Tuesday, 29 September to Wednesday, 30 September 2026, those wishing to add or remove names themselves can submit requests online through the Social Security Office website www.sso.go.th, the SSO Plus app, and Line @ssothai.
For polling locations of those who have never specified a preference, the Social Security Office will assign polling places. For insured persons under Section 33 and employers, the polling site will be based on the registered workplace location. For insured persons under Sections 39 and 40, the polling site will be based on the address registered with the Social Security Office.
The Social Security Office urges employers and insured persons to verify information and submit requests within the specified period to ensure the voters’ list is accurate, transparent, and fair, safeguarding their voting rights. The office invites all employers and insured persons to recognize the importance of this election and collectively exercise their right to vote to elect knowledgeable representatives to contribute to the sustainable management and development of the social security system.
Employers and insured persons can check announcements, eligibility lists, polling locations, and regulations on the Social Security Office’s website www.sso.go.th. For inquiries, they can contact the Election Management Center (EMC) at 0 2956 2929 or the hotline 1506 press 9, available 24 hours daily.
