Minister Sabida is actively advancing the Ministry of Culture's volunteer kitchen for the second consecutive day, joining forces with networks to mobilize aid for flood victims in Bangkok, pledging to stand by the people through every crisis.
On 28 Sep 2026 GMT+7, the Ministry of Culture's volunteer kitchen continued preparing fresh meals to promptly deliver assistance and alleviate hardships for flood-affected residents in Bangkok and nearby provinces. The initiative, based at the Ministry of Culture, involves the Department of Cultural Promotion, the Department of Religious Affairs, the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Culture, and the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund. They collaborate with Somjainuek Engtrakul, Charoen Pokphand Group, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, Khao Saendee Company Limited, and the Advisory Chairman of Miss Thailand Beauty 2016 Company Limited to prepare freshly cooked, clean, and hygienic meals packed in ready-to-eat boxes along with clean drinking water for distribution to those in need.
Over the past two days (up to 14:00 on 28 Sep 2026 GMT+7), food has been delivered to residents at three key locations: 1) Rattanakosin Ladkrabang School and Ladkrabang District; 2) Soi Ramkhamhaeng 118, Intersection 46-10 (Kansul Yannah Mosque); and 3) Nong Chok District (Al-Ikhwan Mosque and Royal Park Suwinthawong Village), with a total exceeding 6,000 meal boxes distributed.
Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Minister of Culture, stated that the Ministry's volunteer kitchen operations will continue preparing cooked meals, drinking water, and essential supplies for flood-affected people until the situation returns to normal.
