On 28 Sep 2026 at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters on Viphavadi-Rangsit Road, party MPs and members mobilized to assist citizens suffering from floods at multiple locations in Bangkok, where people remained stranded in their homes. The party gathered central kitchens from various districts to prepare cooked meals for distribution in each area.
They also set up a coordination center to collect relief supplies for flood victims, inviting the public to donate essential items at the Pheu Thai Party office on Viphavadi-Rangsit Road, Bangkok. Initially, supplies will be distributed in four flood-affected areas that have not yet improved.
Relief Point 1: Lak Si District. Coordinator: Mr. Surachat Thienthong, Secretary to the Minister of Labour and former Bangkok MP.
Relief Point 2: Sai Mai District. Coordinator: Ms. Rattikan Kaewkermmee, former Bangkok MP candidate.
Relief Point 3: Don Mueang District. Coordinator: Mr. Phumipat Hosakul, former Bangkok MP candidate.
Relief Point 4: Lat Krabang District. Coordinator: Ms. Theerarat Samretwanit, Assistant Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of the Pheu Thai Party.
Meanwhile, the Pheu Thai Party has gathered MPs, local councilors, former MPs, former candidates, and party members to organize supplies for distribution to assist citizens. The party will continuously assess the situation and adjust its relief plans to meet the needs of each area. Updates will be provided, and those wishing to contribute can deliver food, consumer goods, and essential items to the party headquarters.
This afternoon at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters, party leader Mr. Phumtham Vejjajai, MP Manporn Charoensri (Nakhon Phanom), Deputy Leader of the Party, MP Kittanya Wajadee (Ubon Ratchathani), MP Jirachaya Sapso (Sakon Nakhon), MP Thongtham Vejjajai (Party List), and party staff packed cooked meals such as chicken rice, stir-fried pork with basil, Chinese sausage, canned fish, and drinking water for MPs to distribute to flood victims in Bangkok.
MP Manporn Charoensri, Nakhon Phanom and Deputy Leader of the Pheu Thai Party, revealed that about 5,000 cooked meal boxes were prepared today to be distributed to flood victims in Don Mueang, Bueng Kum, Khlong Chan flats, and 4-5 points in Lat Krabang. The party has arranged vehicles and boats to deliver cooked meals, canned fish, and drinking water to affected residents. The party will continue distributing food until the situation improves.
Ms. Manporn added that on 29 Sep 2026, the Pheu Thai Party will set up a kitchen to prepare meals and accept donations of dry food and essential items from the public to be delivered to flood-affected areas. Party MPs will visit these points to deliver aid directly to residents.
