Deputy Agriculture Minister Watcharapol visited Suhredang Mosque and Suan Siam in Kannyaw District, bringing food, drinking water, and Thai-Denmark Red Cow milk to residents affected by severe flooding. He expedited sourcing of EM microbial balls for distribution after residents reported foul odors from stagnant water.
On 28 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Deputy Agriculture Minister Watcharapol Kaokham, accompanied by his secretary Nannat Hongchuwech, policy assistant Chayika Wongnapajan, former Bangkok MP Phonphum Wipathipumiphat of the Pheu Thai Party, alongside officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Sericulture Director Narumon Sanguanwong, Deputy Director Nattayan Kahlong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Agricultural Land Reform Office Krisana Deepala, Deputy Secretary-General Wathana Mangthisarn, and Fisheries Inspector General Sitthipol Muangsong jointly visited the Muslim community at Suhredang Mosque and Suan Siam area in Kannyaw District. They distributed boxed meals and drinking water supported by the Department of Sericulture, Department of Fisheries, and Agricultural Land Reform Office. Additionally, they delivered over 2,000 cartons of UHT Red Cow milk from the Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand to communities, including those still facing severe flooding with vulnerable groups, bedridden patients, or young children, to aid flood victims in eastern Bangkok.
They also plan to visit Lat Krabang District near the Queen's 60th Birthday Park, Sai Mai District at Prachanukul School, Kannyaw District Office, Min Buri District, and Lak Si District at Lak Si Temple School to distribute Thai-Denmark Red Cow milk to community residents still affected by flooding in eastern Bangkok.
Residents in many flooded areas have reported that the stagnant water is starting to smell and that mosquito numbers are increasing. Therefore, the Ministry of Agriculture plans to procure and distribute compressed beneficial microbial balls (EM) to flood victims.
Meanwhile, on 29 Sep 2026 GMT+7, the Ministry of Agriculture will transport essential goods, consumer products, and food supplies via patrol boats from the Department of Fisheries to assist residents in eastern Bangkok who are unable to purchase necessities or remain isolated due to severe flooding. Areas still needing additional aid can contact the Ministry directly to request support.
