Sabida has partnered with the private sector and artist groups to prepare freshly cooked meals to help flood victims, affirming ongoing support until the situation is resolved.
On 29 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Minister of Culture, participated in the Ministry of Culture's volunteer kitchen activities for the third consecutive day at the entrance hall of the 1st floor, Film and Video Review Office building, Department of Cultural Promotion. The initiative involved preparing freshly cooked, clean, and hygienic boxed meals ready for distribution to flood-affected residents in Bangkok and nearby provinces.
This volunteer kitchen initiative is driven by close collaboration among agencies under the Ministry of Culture, including the Department of Cultural Promotion, Department of Religious Affairs, and the Ministry's Office of the Permanent Secretary, along with the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund and leading private partners such as Charoen Pokphand Group, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, Khao Saen Dee Company Limited, Sahafarm Company Limited, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, Dhipaya Insurance Public Company Limited, Sahapat Inter-Holding Public Company Limited, and Somjainuk Engtrakul, Advisory Chairman of Miss Thin Thai Ngam 2016 Company Limited.
For the third day of halal food delivery, the volunteer kitchen dispatched boxed meals, snacks, and drinking water to four target districts: Saphan Sung, Nong Chok, Min Buri, and Bang Kapi. The total delivery included over 10,000 meal boxes and more than 30 sacks of rice to help ease living expenses and boost morale for communities impacted by flooding.
The event atmosphere was warm, with artists and actors from the TBLC Association, including Kasama Nissayapan, Patama Panthong, Tiger Pattharapon, Prai Pannavee, Paik – Jirayu Sriboon-ek, FIFA – Nitirat Boonta, Pangpond – Sarun Amtong, Lang Lee – Lang Sue Lee, Arm – Chaiphat Champasin, Fok – Suthima Korkiatwanich, Bebel – Phattanarat Ketkaew, Non Nam – Kitchanarat Nuntanroongruang, Aim – Natthakrit Wongruangvisan, Aoy – Suprawi Pholkan, and PP – Phumipat Saelim, joined by media personnel to volunteer and support the activity, reflecting the solidarity and kindness of Thai society.
Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Minister of Culture, emphasized that the Ministry prioritizes ensuring that flood victims have access to food, clean drinking water, and essential necessities during difficult times. The Ministry is ready to continue partnering with all networks to provide full and ongoing assistance until the flood situation returns to normal. She expressed hope that every meal served will help alleviate hardships and strengthen the spirit of the people to overcome this crisis successfully.
