Siripong announced that the Ministry of Transport is alleviating the burden on flood victims. Those needing tow trucks or slide trucks can notify the police station in the area where their vehicles are parked.
On 30 Sep 2026 GMT+7, Siripong Angkasagulkiat, Deputy Minister of Transport, posted on Facebook stating that following the policy of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, the Ministry of Transport supports the Royal Thai Police in managing vehicles submerged in water or blocking traffic amid Bangkok’s flooding situation.
He noted that towing and slide truck services currently cost between 10,000 and 30,000 baht. To ease the public’s burden, anyone wishing to have their vehicle moved by the Ministry of Transport can contact the police station in the area where their vehicle is parked. Although some initial delays may occur, coordination will be expedited to provide the best service possible.
