Chulaphan, Minister of Labour, joined the central kitchen at the Ministry of Labour to prepare 1,000 to 1,500 meal boxes daily for flood victims, alongside deploying skilled technicians to repair electrical appliances and occupational equipment once floodwaters subside.
On 30 September 2026, Mr. Chulaphan Amornwiwat, Minister of Labour, together with Mr. Korkaeo Pikultong, Chairman of the Minister’s Working Group, and Ms. Thidarat Yingcharoen, Advisor to the Minister of Labour, joined Ms. Buppha Ruangsut, Director-General of the Department of Skill Development and President of the Ministry of Labour Housewives Association, at the Labour College under the Department of Skill Development. They prepared ready-to-eat meals to deliver to people and workers affected by the flooding. The Labour College has been established as the Ministry’s central kitchen, producing about 1,000 to 1,500 meal boxes daily on an ongoing basis. So far, over 3,000 meal boxes have been delivered to flood victims.
Mr. Chulaphan stated that the Ministry of Labour is mobilizing all affiliated agencies to fully support the public during the flooding, particularly focusing on basic living needs. The preparation of ready-to-eat meals will continue as required by each affected area.
"What matters is not only providing help during the flood but also after the situation improves and water levels drop. The Ministry of Labour will promptly send skilled technicians to assist in restoring and repairing electrical appliances, occupational equipment, and vehicles damaged by the floods. This will help reduce expenses and enable people to resume their daily lives and work as soon as possible. We will continue supporting until the situation is fully resolved."
