Anutin rushed to inspect the "Bhumjaithai Kitchen x GrabFood" initiative, which offers free cooked meals delivered directly to homes to ease the suffering of flood victims in Bangkok. Meanwhile, "Nong Tan Jai" thanked netizens for their support after becoming famous overnight due to the effort.
On 30 September 2026, the "Bhumjaithai Kitchen" extended care directly to homes by partnering with the private sector to help residents affected by flooding in Bangkok. They opened a special channel to order freshly cooked boxed meals delivered free via the GrabFood app with no delivery fee, assisting those who cannot travel easily or access aid.
Steps to receive free meals:
1. Open the Grab app and select the GrabFood service.
2. Search for the restaurant named “Bhumjaithai Kitchen - Bhumjaithai Party.”
3. Choose your food items and set your delivery address (limited to a maximum of 5 sets per order).
This free food and delivery service covers only flood-affected areas in Bangkok to ensure victims receive meals without having to leave their homes.
At 3:20 p.m. at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, also the party leader, inspected the party’s kitchen that prepares food to assist flood victims. The kitchen officially opened yesterday (29 Sept) under the supervision of Ms. Supamas Isarapakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office and party treasurer, who manages the kitchen.
Anutin toured the kitchen, greeted and encouraged volunteers, and inquired about any additional needs before inspecting the food supplies prepared for the public. The kitchen allows affected individuals to collect food immediately and distributes meals through the party’s network to various locations. Over 20,000 meal boxes have been sent out, including deliveries via the Grab Delivery app under the name "Bhumjaithai Kitchen."
Reporters also noted that "Nong Tan Jai," a staff member of the Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office (Ms. Suksamruay Wantaneeyakul), continues to work at the kitchen located at Khan Na Yao District Office, Bangkok. She supports the mission to help flood-affected citizens. The kitchen can produce about 20,000 boxed meals daily for continuous distribution to victims.
"Nong Tan Jai" is involved in preparing ingredients, cooking, packing meal boxes, and transporting food to those in distress. She said those wishing to show support can visit the kitchen at Khan Na Yao District Office or volunteer to assist in delivering meals and encouragement to flood victims during these difficult times.
"Minister Suksamruay is concerned for all flood victims, visiting the kitchen daily after official duties and assigning Tan Jai to coordinate and facilitate all parties involved. I thank everyone for their encouragement and kind words online and wish to send this support on to all Bangkok residents still affected by the floods," said Nong Tan Jai.
