The government announced that free parking spots remain available as some areas are still flooded. Suvarnabhumi Airport can accommodate over 3,500 vehicles. The Yellow and Pink MRT lines continue offering spaces to assist the public.
On 30 September 2026, Ms. Lalida Pertviwatthana, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, stated that due to ongoing flooding in some areas where people need to move their vehicles from risky zones, the government informs that free parking is still available for the public, including at Suvarnabhumi Airport and the park-and-ride buildings of the Yellow and Pink MRT lines.
At Suvarnabhumi Airport, free parking remains open to help those affected by the flooding, including long-term parking in Zone C with 718 spaces, Zone E with 718 spaces, Zone 5 with 455 spaces, and Zone 6 with 689 spaces, totaling 2,580 spaces.
Additionally, temporary parking is available along the shoulders of Suvarnabhumi Road Line 4, accommodating about 1,000 vehicles between the Lane Station intersection to the Fuel Station and from the AMF intersection to the helicopter parking area. This means Suvarnabhumi Airport can support over 3,500 vehicles in total, with the service continuing until the situation returns to normal. Meanwhile, the Yellow MRT line has opened the park-and-ride building at Sri Iam station (YL17) for residents affected by nearby flooding to park cars or motorcycles free of charge, with the requirement to remove vehicles by 2 October 2026.
Similarly, the Pink MRT line has opened the park-and-ride building at Min Buri station (PK30) for people in Min Buri and nearby areas to park cars or motorcycles free of charge, also requiring vehicles to be removed by 2 October 2026.
Ms. Lalida said that although the flooding situation has eased in many areas, some places remain flooded. The government wishes to inform the public that free parking spots are still available to help move vehicles from risky areas and reduce property damage. She urged people to verify the conditions and service duration of each parking location before parking and to closely monitor local flood conditions.
