Suchada Sang Thanthap, nicknamed “Idea,” formerly named Thanlada Thanthap, is a member of parliament for Chaiyaphum province's constituency 4, covering Nong Bua Daeng and Phakdi Chumphon districts, representing the Bhumjaithai Party. She was born on 23 Dec 1992 CE and is currently 33 years old. She is the daughter of Samrit Thanthap, also an MP from Bhumjaithai, and Supansa Photika. She completed secondary education at Suranaree Wittaya School, earned a bachelor’s degree from the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) at Thammasat University, a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from Thammasat University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Chulalongkorn University.
In her personal life, she is married to Taiyang Zhang, an Australian businessman born in Canberra, Australia. He works in technology, cryptocurrency, and blockchain industries. They have one child together.
Before entering politics, she was involved in the entertainment industry as an actress and talent under Supachai Sriwijit (A Supachai). Her acting credits include the drama "Good Morning" aired on MONO29 in 2014 CE.
Political career of MP Idea Suchada Sang Thanthap
Suchada Sang Thanthap began her political path following her father but initially joined a different party. She started working with the Democrat Party alongside the NewDem group led by Parit Wacharasindhu during the 2019 election but was unsuccessful. She then moved to the Palang Pracharath Party from 2019 to 2021 and subsequently joined the Bhumjaithai Party in 2021, following her father, where she remains today.
