Nevin announces his 68th birthday will be a private merit-making event with family at Buriram Castle, declining flowers and gifts, and invites donations to Buriram Hospital instead. Meanwhile, media attendance has been canceled due to flooding in several provinces.
On 2 Oct 2026 GMT+7, the Facebook page named “Uncle Nevin” posted that Nevin Chidchob, chairman of Buriram United Football Club, will celebrate his 68th birthday on 4 October. Nevin and his family request private time to make merit at Buriram Castle and invite others to join in from wherever they are, as their hearts are connected. They hope the merit shared will bring health, protection from illness and accidents, strength to work, and the ability to care for family, community, society, and the nation.
Those wishing to contribute merit can donate to Buriram Hospital via Krungthai Bank, account number 308-0-70047-3. All flowers and gifts are politely declined.
Previously, the Bhumjaithai Party announced the cancellation of media participation in Nevin’s birthday event on 3-4 October, reporting that this year's celebration is a private affair due to ongoing flooding in several provinces.
