The Blue Senators group has postponed filing a complaint to investigate Sitthichot Intharawiset, the minority Election Commission member, in the Senate rigging case. They want to gather more evidence to strengthen the credibility of their information first, expecting to file with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) next week.
On 2 Oct 2026, reporters at the Parliament reported that after five Blue Senators prepared to submit a request to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) chairman on 2 Oct to investigate Sitthichot Intharawiset, the minority Election Commission member, for alleged constitutional violations under articles 234 and 235 regarding ethics and misconduct in relation to disclosing confidential details from the Senate rigging case file, the group has now postponed the submission. They want to revise the content of their complaint to include Sitthichot’s statements during a seminar titled “Senate Rigging Case: The Truth All Thais Must Know,” held by the Royal Institute on 30 Sep. At that event, Sitthichot mentioned contents from the Election Commission’s confidential case file, which the Senators argue demonstrates that he disclosed secret information to the public. This addition aims to strengthen the credibility of their complaint, making it clear to the NACC that Sitthichot violated ethics and misconduct rules according to constitutional articles 234 and 235. They expect to submit the complaint to the NACC next week.
