Minister Patthana stated the Ministry assigned the Department of Medical Services, alongside other departments, military medical teams, and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, to establish the field hospital serving approximately 30,000 residents in the Romklao-Lat Krabang community affected by flooding. The hospital provides outpatient care for about 30-40 patients daily who can travel from their homes, offers observation beds for up to 6 patients to assess treatment needs, and maintains 24-hour emergency services. Emergency cases coordinated through the field hospital's radio center and partner foundations, about 7-8 patients daily, can be transferred immediately to hospitals. The disease prevention and control team has conducted investigations and advised on drowning and electric shock prevention, distributing 16,000 doxycycline kits for leptospirosis prevention to flood victims, covering over 50% of the affected population. The Department of Health supports environmental management with wastewater treatment units, cleaning kits, and water quality test kits. Meanwhile, the Department of Health Service Support provides boats to transport patients to the field hospital.
