"Idear" confirms filing a defamation lawsuit against "Rangsiman Rome" to defend her own and her husband's rights. She is confident of her innocence and ready to prove the truth through legal procedures. She states her husband works in startups, investing in various companies.
At 15:30 on 2 Oct 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Suchada Sang Tansap, MP for Chaiyaphum from the Bhumjaithai Party, accompanied by legal counsel, went to the Central Investigation Bureau to file a complaint against Mr. Rangsiman Rome for defamation by advertising. She stated it was to protect her and her family's rights. All steps are currently under legal process. From now on, police and lawyers will discuss further. Those who are guilty will be held accountable regardless of what was said; actions must have consequences. When asked if she would provide information if evidence proves her case, Ms. Suchada said, "I reiterate, those who are guilty will be held accountable."
"I came to the CIB to protect my rights and am confident I am innocent. My family is innocent. Coming here means I am ready to undergo the legal process," Ms. Suchada said. . . .
Regarding Mr. Rangsiman sending an invitation letter to explain to the parliamentary Legal Committee, Ms. Suchada said that if the letter is proper, she is ready to attend, but she has not seen the letter yet. Concerning questions about 2 billion baht, she said these are just allegations. She has discussed this with her husband and sees no need to prepare anything, letting the legal process take its course. When asked about Mr. Sirichok Sopha’s claim of substantial evidence regarding a 1.4 billion baht loan, Ms. Suchada responded by asking who Sirichok is, saying she does not know him and might not have been around then. Most documents were submitted by her to the National Anti-Corruption Commission for explanation; if they were incorrect, she would not have presented them. If fabricated, legal action should follow.
She confirmed her husband is Australian-Chinese and believes he is not shocked by these matters but has never encountered accusations against his innocence in this manner. Therefore, before speaking, one should have evidence and think critically. When asked where a person aged 30-40 got 2 billion baht, Ms. Suchada asked back about Sirichok’s age when he was an MP. She said this is merely Sirichok’s assumption. She will have her lawyers collect all information to pursue legal action against accusers. She emphasized that if she and her husband were guilty, they would have been arrested without waiting in Thailand. She questioned how one knows people close to her husband are involved in shady businesses. When asked again about her husband’s occupation, Ms. Suchada replied, "Can my husband be called Idear’s husband? He works in startups, investing in various companies, and does not have a fixed salary."
Ms. Suchada also stated she has accurately declared all assets according to the law and is ready to prove this but does not accept baseless accusations. "I have declared all assets legally and correctly. I am ready and willing to fight, but I will not accept accusations without evidence. Please, you are grown-ups," Ms. Suchada said.
When asked about encouragement from the Prime Minister, Ms. Suchada said Prime Minister Anutin has expressed concern and told her that if she has done nothing wrong, there is nothing to fear.
