Air Force Launches Free Vehicle Inspection and Repair Center for Flood Victims

The Air Force has opened a vehicle inspection and repair center for flood victims, surpassing 300 vehicles served, accelerating assistance to the public by restoring vehicles for use free of charge.

On 4 Oct 2026 GMT+7, the Air Force Disaster Relief Center, through the Air Force Transport Department, began offering vehicle inspection and maintenance services for flood victims at the Tha Din Daeng Vehicle Inspection Center. This service aims to ease difficulties and help people quickly return their vehicles to use at no cost. Since service began on 29 Sep 2026 GMT+7, over 300 flood-affected vehicles have been serviced, including 234 cars and 72 motorcycles. This reflects the strong demand for aid from flood victims and the Air Force's commitment to deploy all its capabilities to assist the public during times of hardship.

For inspections, technicians from the Air Force Transport Department conduct detailed checks of essential vehicle systems, including:

Engine system inspection.

Fluid measurement and analysis.

Electrical system inspection.

Suspension and brake system inspection.

In cases of severe vehicle damage, technicians assess the damage and provide a preliminary repair cost estimate free of charge, enabling vehicle owners to make informed decisions and plan repairs at other service locations appropriately.

This operation is part of the Air Force Disaster Relief Center's mission to assist the public by reducing flood impact and alleviating hardships in a tangible way. When people face disasters, the Air Force stands ready to support and swiftly provide full assistance so the public can return to normal life as soon as possible.
