Veerayut, MP from the Prachachon Party, declared he wants to record that Anutin, accompanied by the Cabinet, attended Newin Chidchob's birthday party despite severe flooding in many provinces of Thailand.

Mr. Veerayut Kanchoochat Member of Parliament via party-list and Deputy Leader of the Prachachon Party postedon Facebookstating that “Let it be recorded that on 4 October 2026, while heavy flooding affected many provinces in Thailand, Anutin Charnvirakul and the Cabinet traveled to Buriram Province to attend Newin Chidchob's birthday party.”
A reporter reported that today (4 October) is Newin Chidchob's 68th birthday, held annually at Chang Arena in Buriram. This year, the event was modified to a family charity gathering due to widespread flood conditions, with a request to forgo flowers and gifts and instead encourage donations to Buriram Hospital.
However, many politicians attended, including Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, accompanied by most Cabinet ministers from the same party and MPs. Anutin also took part in a conference monitoring the flood situation from the National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Command (NDPMC) at the fourth floor Phanom Rung meeting room in Buriram's City Hall before attending Newin's birthday event.
