"Teng" is preparing to submit a no-confidence motion against several ministers, revealing key issues such as flood management failures, senator selection corruption, and the involvement of MPs' spouses with gray capital, all deserving of parliamentary questioning.
On 6 Oct 2026 GMT+7, at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan campus, a 50th anniversary memorial event for the October 6, 1973 incident was held. Politicians attending included Mr. Pradon Prisanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, representing Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul to deliver a remembrance speech and lay wreaths, as well as Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, leader of the People’s Party (PChN) and opposition leader in the House of Representatives, who also participated in the wreath-laying.
Mr. Natthapong said regarding the submission of the no-confidence motion, "It will definitely be submitted soon. Regardless of the exact timing, the motion should be considered by parliament within October at the latest, ideally no later than early next month. The ministers to be questioned are already fairly certain, but details should not be disclosed yet. They will be revealed together when the motion is officially submitted." When asked if the list includes more ministers beyond Anutin and Minister of Digital Economy Chaiyachon Chidchob, he replied, "Given the issues at hand, there will likely be several."
Explaining the reasons for the proposed no-confidence motion.
Mr. Natthapong described the theme of the debate: "The key issue now is the politics under the Blue Regime. The government is deeply entangled, and society sees credible evidence suggesting government involvement in senator election fraud and control or influence over independent organizations. This undermines the checks and balances mechanism, preventing effective oversight of those in power. As a result, our country lacks true democracy, and those in power act without accountability to the people. I believe all related issues should be included. When asked about the case involving Ms. Suchada Sang Taensap, MP for Chaiyaphum from the Pheu Thai Party, whose husband was suspected by Mr. Rangsiman Rome, deputy leader of PChN, of having ties to gray capital, Mr. Natthapong said, "All issues, whether flood problems, senator election fraud, failed administration, or gray capital connections, should be subject to parliamentary scrutiny."
