Three Ministers Visit Prachinburi Urging Chemical Leak and Nominee Company Inspections Within 7 Days

Ministers Pol.Peer, Lt.Gen. Adul, and Siripong integrated efforts from the Interior Ministry, military, and transport to visit Prachinburi, accelerate flood relief, and demand inspections of chemical leak factories and nominee companies within seven days.

On 11 October 2026, Mr. Pol.Peer Suwanchawi, Deputy Minister of the Interior, along with Lt.Gen. Adul Boonthamcharoen, Minister of Defense, and Mr. Siripong Angsakulkiet, Deputy Minister of Transport, visited Prachinburi Province to meet residents and review water management at Bang Plara Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ban Sang District.

Reporters noted that Mr. Pol.Peer urged administrative officials to immediately register flood victims as water levels drop, without waiting for the entire situation to improve across all areas.

“I ask officials to register affected individuals gradually and submit data centrally right away, to proceed with relief payments without waiting for all areas to be completed. Regarding electricity, I urge the Electricity Authority to quickly survey and restore power to residents as soon as the area is safe.” ."

Regarding the industrial factory in Sri Maha Phot District where chemical waste leaked, Mr. Pol.Peer instructed the Deputy Governor to consider legal actions and penalties alongside relief efforts for the people, noting that such leaks should not occur if factories maintain proper standards and control systems.

Additionally, the special social order task force from the Department of Provincial Administration reported on a company’s registered capital increase from 5 million baht to 105 million baht, and another company with related shareholders increasing capital from 3 million baht to 300 million baht, including shareholders from Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan.

“According to the task force’s report, there are 35 legal entities with foreign shareholders exceeding 50%, and over 10 companies potentially operating as nominee firms. I ask the Department of Provincial Administration, Department of Lands, Ministry of Interior, Provincial Commerce Offices, and Provincial Police Region 2 to collaborate in verifying facts and report results within seven days,” said Mr. Pol.Peer.

Mr. Pol.Peer emphasized that economic development must go hand in hand with protecting Thai citizens’ rights and enforcing laws, especially in Prachinburi Province, which has many electronics parts and chemical factories.

Reporters added that in the morning, Mr. Pol.Peer and Lt.Gen. Adul visited the field hospital at Chakrapong Camp Hospital in Mueang Prachinburi District, which receives patients from Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital, to listen to problems and obstacles, monitor patient care, and oversee plans to transfer patients back to hospitals, prioritizing by severity levels: green, yellow, and red.

Mr. Pol.Peer coordinated with the Provincial Waterworks Authority to bring clean water trucks to serve the hospital, especially for dialysis patients, and arranged clean drinking water trucks to serve the public during the hospital’s flood recovery period.
