On 16 Oct 2026 GMT+7, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul revealed after talks with Kevin Warsh, Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed), that Warsh commented Thailand is on the right track and expressed confidence in Thailand’s cooperation and crackdown on illegal transactions, including scammers, call centers, money laundering, and drug trafficking.
Regarding whether the Fed recommended ongoing economic growth, Anutin said Warsh reviewed various figures and trends showing Thailand is regaining international attention. Journalists have observed Thailand’s recent extensive cooperation and agreements with almost every country worldwide, along with growing interest in conducting transactions in Thailand. These factors serve as indicators of global confidence in investing, starting businesses, and tourism in Thailand.
