Cabinet Approves Mid-Year 2027 Budget of 10.5 Billion Baht for Additional Flood Relief

The Cabinet resolved to approve a mid-year 2027 supplementary budget of 10.5 billion baht for additional flood relief, and also authorized a one-year extension for Phumvisal Kasemsuk to continue serving as Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) after completing his term.

On 20 October 2026, reporters reported that the Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, approved a mid-year budget reserve of 10,508,876,400 baht for emergency or urgent needs in fiscal year 2027, to be used for additional flood relief for affected people. This follows the exhaustion of the original 2026 budget, as proposed by the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM).

Additionally, the Cabinet approved extending the term of Phumvisal Kasemsuk as Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) by one year after he completed his four-year tenure.
