She ignored Sirichok's scheduled testimony this afternoon, considering it a process of the investigators.
At 14:10 on 20 Oct 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Suchada Sang Thanthap, also known as Idea, a Member of Parliament (MP) for Chaiyaphum province from the Bhumjaithai Party, arrived for the weekly party meeting at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters after providing information to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) along with her husband, Mr. Taiyang Sang.
Regarding the case of holding shares in an online gambling website, Ms. Suchada appeared smiling. At one point, a reporter asked if she felt reassured, and she replied, “I already feel reassured.” She then playfully poked the reporter's stomach with her finger before heading straight to the party meeting.
Later, at 14:50, Ms. Suchada gave an interview after the Bhumjaithai MPs meeting. When asked about bringing her husband to meet with DSI investigators in the case involving shareholding linked to an online gambling website and a scammer network, she said, “I feel as calm as before, with no worries. As for the interrogation results, we have to wait for the DSI. I emphasize that I am not worried at all right now.”
Regarding the question about Mr. Sirichok Sopha, former Democrat Party MP, who is scheduled to provide information to the DSI in this case this afternoon, Ms. Suchada said this is likely a part of the DSI’s verification process, but she is not aware of the details before immediately ending the interview.
