The Royal Gazette published a proclamation that the King has appointed Group Captain Wisakorn Raweangwan, a special operations officer at the Office of the Special Operations Officer in the Royal Household, as a royal guard officer.
On 20 Oct 2026, the Royal Gazette website published a proclamation appointing a commissioned officer as a royal guard officer, stating that by royal command, the King has appointed a commissioned officer as a royal guard officer under the authority of Section 7 of the Security Service Act B.E. 2560, Sections 6, 9, and 10 of the Royal Guards Act B.E. 2480, and Article 4.
And Article 7 of the Ministry of Defense Regulation on the Appointment of Royal Guards B.E. 2559.
Therefore, His Majesty graciously appointed Group Captain Wisakorn Raweangwan, Special Operations Officer at the Office of the Special Operations Officer in the Royal Household, King’s Security Command, as a royal guard officer.
This appointment is effective from 23 September 2026.
The proclamation was made on 20 October 2026, the 11th year of the current reign.
