Srisuwan has filed another complaint with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to investigate whether Chaichanok and Idea are guilty of corruption in office and serious ethical violations, focusing on the issue that Suchada’s husband held shares in a gambling website during her tenure as secretary to the Minister of Digital Economy and Society.
At 11:00 a.m. on 21 October 2026, at the NACC headquarters in Nonthaburi, Srisuwan Janya, leader of the Rak Chat Rak Paendin organization, submitted a petition requesting the NACC to investigate and adjudicate the case of Ms. Suchada Sang Thanthap, also known as Idea, a Member of Parliament for Chaiyaphum District 4 from the Bhumjaithai Party. She admitted that her husband once held 1.47% shares in the company operating the Shuffle gambling website but sold them before she became an MP. During that time, she served as secretary to the Minister of Digital Economy and Society while Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob was the minister. This may constitute a conflict of interest under the 2018 Act on Prevention and Suppression of Corruption. The complaint also questions whether the Ministry’s failure to block five well-known gambling websites constitutes corruption in office and serious ethical violations.
This follows Ms. Suchada’s admission in media interviews that her husband, Mr. Taiyang Sang, held 1.47% of shares in Mixed Order Limited, the operator of the Shuffle website, but sold them before she became an MP. Before becoming an MP, she was appointed by Cabinet resolution on 7 October 2025 as secretary to the Minister of Digital Economy and Society during Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob’s tenure. She also served as the ministry’s spokesperson. In May 2026, she was elected and appointed as secretary to the Parliamentary Commission on Communication, Telecommunications, and Digital Economy and Society.
Her tenure coincided with the Shuffle website still being accessible and unblocked by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, raising concerns of potential conflicts of interest and the appropriateness of exercising state authority. Furthermore, five popular websites—ufabet.c, 1xbet.c, bet365.c, m98c0.c, and m98..asia—which receive substantial traffic from Thailand, have not been blocked by the ministry. This apparent negligence may constitute a conflict of interest under the 2018 Anti-Corruption Act (Sections 126–129) or Penal Code Section 157 concerning misconduct in office.
For these reasons, the Rak Chat Rak Paendin organization has lodged this additional complaint with the NACC, requesting an investigation, opinion, and ruling on whether Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob, Ms. Suchada Sang Thanthap, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society are guilty of corruption in office and serious ethical violations.
