Suchart Emphatically Denies Involvement with Truck Sticker, Refuses to Sue Facebook Page

Suchart gave a final interview, firmly denying any involvement with the truck front sticker. He clarified that his family has never been in the trucking or delivery business. He is preparing to petition the Commander of Provincial Police Region 2 to take legal action. He will not sue the Facebook page and refuses to give them any attention. He urged people not to use social media to slander others instead.

At 06:50 on 24 Oct 2026 GMT+7 at Sanam Luang, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, addressed the case of his image and name being used on trucks. He said this would be his final interview as the issue originated 3-4 years ago during a parliamentary debate, and the accuser has since lost their seat. He condemned false accusations as shameful. He confirmed via Facebook that he never authorized anyone to produce or distribute such stickers. Since Chonburi province, where he lives, has the Laem Chabang port and thousands of tractor trucks, some people might know him, but whether they support or act on his behalf is unknown. When the issue was raised years ago, he investigated and found the trucks belong to local companies but they did not have permission to use his image. Truck owners and contractors with proper customs taxes do not have the right to open containers; shipping and customs determine destinations as normal business practice. He emphasized that if people wear shirts he gave out in Chonburi and use them for illegal acts, he should not be held responsible. He stressed the truth: he has no business or profession linked to this matter.

Mr. Suchart added that as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, he has taken on tough tasks like dismantling 5-star hotels in Phuket valued at billions of baht. He questioned why he would harm the public. He reiterated he has never worked in the trucking industry and sees this as political discredit. The first Facebook page that posted about him received his clarifications and understood, but subsequent pages spreading the story are known to have opposed the government for many years.

Mr. Suchart said, “I was elected with nearly 50,000 votes; many people love and support me. Sometimes they make shirts and wear them, but if criminals misuse them, am I responsible? Also, I do not have any accounts or connections to companies mentioned by the page, such as Jiang Lei or others; I am still trying to identify them. I will submit a letter to the Commander of Provincial Police Region 2 to prosecute anyone impersonating me or using stickers illegally. Please inform me as I will take legal action as a victim. I intend to take this seriously because I am fighting against such issues and will not let citizens suffer. The Prime Minister has also instructed me, and I am already acting on it.”

Additionally, Mr. Suchart stressed the matter should be closed. He invited anyone with evidence of financial links to come forward or use any method to condemn him, but he firmly denied any involvement. He does not want to sue the Facebook page to avoid giving them publicity, which would only escalate the issue. Sometimes responding leads to legal action against him, and the accusers claim to have good intentions, but then sue him. This leaves him with no gain but loss. Therefore, he stands by the truth and urges that if he or his close associates are guilty, legal action should be taken. His family is not involved in such businesses. He called on people not to use social media to politically slander others.
