Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview after the Cabinet meeting at Government House, saying that the Cabinet approved a draft ministerial regulation setting excise tax rates to reduce taxes on fuel products including both E20 gasoline and B20 diesel.
Anutin continued that E20 will have a tax cut of 5.60 baht per liter and B20 a reduction of 5.50 baht per liter. He assigned Energy Minister Aeknat Promphan to proceed with the implementation. The measure will be effective for three months, with emphasis that the excise tax cut applies only to these two fuel types. /
