The Police Commission is taking serious action by inviting cyber police to trace the money flow and Payment Gateway of donations for all political parties, including Bhumjaithai. They declare that anyone involved with gray businesses, online gambling, nominees, or fraud gangs will face consequences and risk party dissolution.
28 Oct 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Watcharapong Kuwijitsuwan, Chairman of the Police Commission of the House of Representatives and an MP from Saraburi for the Bhumjaithai Party, revealed that the Police Commission will invite the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), or cyber police, to systematically examine the money flows and sources of donations for all political parties. He confirmed that this inspection will also cover the Bhumjaithai Party to ensure transparency and fairness for all parties.
Watcharapong added that this action follows questions and requests for investigation regarding Ms. Suchada Sang Than Sup (Idea) MP from Chaiyaphum for Bhumjaithai, and her husband, who have been suspected of involvement with foreign online gambling networks, leading to calls for party dissolution. Given these allegations against Ms. Suchada, he believes it is necessary to apply the same standards and criteria when investigating other political parties as well.
The Police Commission chairman further said that there have been ongoing reports about party members, candidates, and MPs from various parties in northern, northeastern, southern regions, and Bangkok, being involved in illegal businesses such as gambling, nominees, and fraud against the public. Several cases are under investigation by police and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), while some have been forwarded to prosecutors. Therefore, inviting cyber police to join this inspection aims primarily to clarify whether donation money received by each party is legal and clean or mixed with illicit funds.
Besides investigating the source of funds, coordination will be made for the TCSD to conduct in-depth checks of the payment systems or Payment Gateway used by political parties to receive donations from the public, to verify if they comply with legal procedures and standards, especially after learning that some Payment Gateway owners are currently facing fraud charges.
If the TCSD uncovers violations, it will have the authority to investigate further and coordinate with the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), as well as provide evidence to the Election Commission (EC) or the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) for legal proceedings.
“When donation money details are openly disclosed, society will clearly see which political parties may be at risk. If it is found that dirty or gray money from scams and fraud has circulated within the political system, those parties will also be at risk of being petitioned for dissolution,” he said.
