Rakchanok strongly accused Supachai of being shameless for filing an ethics complaint against others while never reflecting on his own behavior. She affirmed her readiness to fully accept public criticism over the case of sharing a post.
On 28 Oct 2026 GMT+7, Rakchanok Srinok, a list MP from the People’s Party, posted on Facebook that she truly wonders how Supachai Jaisamut dares to file ethics complaints against others. He is bold enough to investigate others’ ethics but seemingly never looks critically at his own or his group’s behavior, especially regarding sharing false information. Supachai previously stood at a press conference in parliament, using a platform meant for public benefit and citizens’ interests, to slander MP Parit Watcharasin by accusing him of leaking important documents in a Senate corruption case—something Parit never did. Since that day, no formal apology has been issued. When asked about Supachai’s false statements, he avoids direct answers out of embarrassment and changes the subject.
Regarding my sharing a post from the page 'Gog Damn,' I did not confirm any facts therein. However, the government should respond to the allegations, which is appropriate. Although I did not confirm the facts, the public naturally has the right to critique my conduct as their representative, and I fully accept their criticism.
As for singers and MPs filing ethics complaints at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) in this case, starting with Supachai Jaisamut, who once used parliamentary space to make false statements, I really question how he dares to file ethics complaints against others. He is one of the most shameless people I have encountered, boldly accusing others of similar offenses while his own more severe misconduct goes unaddressed.
Other singers probably won’t file complaints about this case but will find other reasons to file complaints. Even something as trivial as stepping out of the house with the wrong foot might lead to ethics complaints from this group. Yet, they ignore other cases, such as MPs whose assets were seized over gambling websites or MPs who admitted their husbands ran gambling sites. These people seem blind to such irregularities. Thus, this situation is just a political tool used to attack the People’s Party when any flaw arises.
If these singers do not intend political harassment but genuinely want to set a media literacy standard for society, then besides my case, there are politicians who have exhibited similar behavior but far more severe: those who themselves spread fake news. Besides Supachai Jaisamut, Anutin Charnvirakul has done this more than once. If filing an ethics complaint against me, then please also file complaints against Supachai and Anutin simultaneously. If the NACC sets a precedent that I am wrong, then they should also be penalized because my case did not confirm facts and had no intent to accuse, only to prompt thorough investigation; whereas Supachai and Anutin are sources of fake news themselves.
If sharing posts is grounds for political disqualification, then the original sources of fake news should be disqualified for life and beyond.
