The Prime Minister joined a merit-making ceremony marking the 42nd ordination anniversary of Chao Khun Ton, Assistant Abbot of Wat Rakhang Kositaram.
At 10:10 a.m. on 29 Oct 2026 GMT+7, following a courtesy visit by Mr. Darren Hsiao, Chairman of Peng Shen Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who brought Mr. Charles Shen, Chairman of Zhen Ding Technology Group (ZDT Group), to pay respects to Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul at the Thai Khu Fah Building, Government House, the Prime Minister then traveled to Wat Rakhang Kositaram. There, he participated in a merit-making ceremony for the 42nd ordination anniversary of Phra Ratchawachirathamkhosit (Vachara Phatthamano), known as Chao Khun Ton, Assistant Abbot of Wat Rakhang Kositaram, whose birthday falls on 31 Oct. The event was attended by Ms. Traisulee Traisoranakul, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister; Mr. Atsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior; Mr. Anupong Suksamanit, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior; Mr. Narucha Khosasilvait, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration; Mr. Nirat Pongsitthathaworn, Director-General of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation; along with senior officials of the Ministry of Interior. Afterwards, the Prime Minister proceeded to attend a parliamentary session at the Parliament Building.
