The Prime Minister stated, “We should always remain aware, but there is no need to panic,” following several countries worldwide advising their citizens to stockpile food and drinking water for 72 hours to prepare for emergencies.
On 29 Oct 2026 GMT+7, at the Parliament, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul was interviewed about the global advisories instructing people to prepare food and drinking water supplies for at least 72 hours in readiness for emergency situations. He said, “I am not yet aware of this matter.”
When asked whether citizens should avoid panicking over these global advisories, the Prime Minister responded, “We should remain constantly aware, but we do not need to panic.”
