Prime Minister Anutin thanked the Thai people for their cooperation in increasing B20 fuel usage to 3 million liters per day after the Cabinet resolved to cut excise taxes.

The Prime Minister stated, “I would like to thank the Thai people for cooperating to increase B20 usage to 3 million liters per day.”
Reporters noted that following the Cabinet meeting on 27 October 2026, the government approved reducing the excise tax on B20 biodiesel by 5.50 baht per liter and on E20 fuel by 5.60 baht per liter for an initial period of three months, effective from 28 October (read more:Cabinet approves excise tax cut on E20 by 5.60 baht per liter and B20 by 5.50 baht for 3 months)
