Deputy Agriculture Minister Watcharapol inspected the Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo ahead of the Prime Minister’s grand opening tomorrow, emphasizing safety measures, traffic control, parking arrangements, and increasing tram services to accommodate the large number of tourists arriving.
At 18:30 on 1 November 2026, Deputy Agriculture Minister Watcharapol Khaokham visited the site of the Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026, which opened to the public for the first time. A large number of Thai and international tourists showed strong interest, causing traffic congestion at the main entrance. He coordinated with Pol. Col. Patanawong Janphon, Chief of Udon Thani City Police, and Pol. Lt. Col. Chainarong Khantasima, Deputy Traffic Superintendent, to manage traffic, facilitate parking, and prepare security ahead of the Prime Minister’s grand opening scheduled for 18:00.
Meanwhile, Watcharapol ordered an increase in the number of trams and shuttle vehicles at various points to match tourist volumes throughout the day, after noticing that visitors had to wait a long time for trams circulating the expo area.
