Warawut Believes Bhumjaithai Ministers Ready for No-Confidence Debate, Declines to Speculate on Kla Thams Future in Government

Warawut believes Bhumjaithai Party ministers are prepared to respond to the no-confidence debate and declines to speculate on Kla Tham's future role in the government, noting that it is a matter for the future. He trusts the Prime Minister has carefully considered what actions to take.

At 10:45 a.m. on 2 Nov 2026 in Udon Thani Province, Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, said in an interview about the no-confidence debate scheduled for 7-11 Dec that within the Bhumjaithai Party, there are 18 ministers, including the Prime Minister, who will be scrutinized. The nine ministers not subject to questioning will support each other. Notably, the Prime Minister's debate is comprehensive. For any issues concerning particular ministers, such as those involving the Ministry of Industry, as minister, he is ready to stand up and respond fully to all opposition inquiries.

When asked about rumors of vote-trading to support Bhumjaithai ministers, Warawut said this is normal; such rumors usually arise around no-confidence debates. However, he believes the coalition government's work will withstand the debate and they can answer every question posed.

A reporter asked if, after the debate, allies such as the Kla Tham Party might join the government and if there might be cabinet reshuffles. Warawut responded that people should not focus on future events but on the present. If we only think about the future, there is no need to work today. Whatever the future holds must wait; what matters is doing the best today. He trusts Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is also Minister of Interior and leader of Bhumjaithai, has the judgment and has carefully considered every action. Regarding the future, he prefers not to speculate prematurely.
