Nan Bunyatida Fires Back at Opposition: Dont Blame Government for Scheduling Issues After Submitting Motions

'Nan Bunyatida' fired back at the opposition, saying the government whip had informed the framework for the no-confidence debate since October. All ministers are ready. She said the opposition submitted the motions themselves but failed to schedule properly, so they should not blame the government.

On 4 Nov 2026 GMT+7, Nan Bunyatida Somsachai, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy and Society (DE), responded to opposition allegations that the government was unprepared for the no-confidence debate. She stated that the government whip did not delay or fail to coordinate; the dates and times had been set since the last week of October. Meanwhile, the ministers named for debate had already arranged their schedules and were ready to participate.

'Didn’t your own party whip tell you that the government gave dates and times in the last week of October? The ministers facing debate have already allocated their schedules and are ready. The calendar is already laid out; November is very packed, December too. Since you submitted the motions yourselves, you must be ready. If you can’t coordinate your timing, don’t blame the government. It’s laughable. If you want to be academic, give academic reasons. Don’t fabricate or turn this into a drama. Really,' she said.
