Clarifying the photo taken with "Kamnan Mano," Rangsiman Rome said he does not personally know him. He revealed they spoke for less than five minutes at an event in Nakhon Si Thammarat and denied being behind the 1,000-car protest planned to storm the Government House this Saturday.
5 Nov 2026 GMT+7 Rangsiman Rome The party-list MP from the People's Party explained the case of a photo with Mano Khrueakaew, Kamnan of Krabi Noi Subdistrict, Mueang District, Krabi Province, who announced gathering about 1,000 vehicles to storm the Government House on Saturday, 7 November to demand government solutions to the cost of living crisis. Rangsiman said he has seen the photo and confirmed he did not know Kamnan Mano before but met him at an invited talk event in early August in Nakhon Si Thammarat. At that event, he spoke to everyone present. He cannot recall exactly when he took the photo with Kamnan Mano but saw it later and realized it was from that event. Their conversation lasted no more than five minutes.
Rangsiman further stated that if a single conversation at an event is enough to claim he is behind someone, then many things like parliamentary debates or other work would be much easier. He acknowledged that meetings at public events are open and not secretive, with no actions disrupting public order. Therefore, using this photo to raise suspicions should not be given much weight.
