At 14:10 on 6 November 2026 at the Government House, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the Metropolitan Police Bureau's order banning public assemblies within 50 meters of the Government House. This follows an announcement by a protest group led by Ganman Mano, village headman of Krabi Noi subdistrict and leader of the People's Revolutionary Coalition for National Defense (NPP), planning to demonstrate at the Government House on 7 November. He said he was unaware of the order. All agencies must perform their duties. The government welcomes suggestions and opinions in accordance with the constitutional rights of the people. We cannot prohibit anything. Regarding the intention to stay overnight and submit letters, if it is within rights and does not disturb others, then it is constitutional right. When asked about the amnesty issue and whether individuals listed for amnesty who join the protest would lose rights, the Prime Minister said, “It is difficult for me to answer because this is a judicial matter. I do not interfere with court rulings. I am responsible for the executive branch. We have three powers: executive, legislative, and judiciary, which are the pillars of our democracy. I am responsible for executive power, and generally, these three powers do not interfere with each other.” The tags are [amnesty, judiciary, executive power, government, separation of powers]

When asked if political mobs would be investigated for their funding sources, the Prime Minister responded that it is the responsibility of the relevant security agencies. However, if the assembly is lawful, peaceful, and does not cause inconvenience to the public, there will be no investigation into funding sources. He urged that the protest remain within the law, as everyone has the right to do so under the law.
