"Kamnan Mano" has led a caravan to the Government House, declaring he is unafraid of death and demanding an audit of oil price costs, corruption in local official examinations, and the buying and selling of positions. He threatened to escalate protests if oil prices are not lowered.
On 8 Nov 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that Kamnan Mano, Mr. Mano Kruakaew, leader of the People's Revolution Coalition (NPP), along with a caravan of vehicles that departed from Khuan Nong Hong intersection, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, on 5 Nov 2026, arrived at the Government House yesterday evening to demand the government immediately reduce diesel prices by 10 baht per liter.
He spoke out from atop a truck, criticizing Thailand's oil prices, which have risen higher than neighboring countries, and demanded accountability for the price differentials from which masked profiteers have benefited. He noted that the perpetrators have yet to be identified.
Kamnan Mano insisted that this movement has no political agenda but is driven by the unbearable hardship faced by local people. He emphasized the need to bring these public issues to the government’s attention. On 9 Nov 2026, reinforcements from various areas are expected to join, and if prices are not reduced, the protest will be escalated.
"People are really suffering. In the South, even though rubber prices are good, the rainy season prevents tapping. Palm oil prices may be good, but all goods have increased in price, causing hardship. I have no formal comparison, but I believe if the government is serious, it can reduce oil prices by 10 baht per liter," Kamnan Mano said.
He added, "If people in Bangkok feel troubled by high oil prices, drugs, and expensive goods, I invite them to join this protest."
