'Thairath Group' invites football fans to join the excitement of Euro 2024, cheering loudly and sending postcards to predict the teams advancing to the Round of 16 and then the champion, with prizes totaling over 10 million baht in value.
Thairath Group has launched a major campaign titled 'Cheer for Football Loudly, Celebrate and Win Everywhere, Anytime,' catering to football fans during the big matches of the 17th UEFA European Football Championship (Euro 2024) held in Germany. They invite Thai people to join the fun by sending postcards to predict the team that will win the championship, with prizes valued at over
ten million baht through Thailand Post channels.
Mr. Watchara Watcharaphol, Co-CEO of Trend VG3 Co., Ltd. (Thairath Online) and Triple V Broadcast Co., Ltd. (Thairath TV), said the 'Cheer for Football Loudly, Celebrate and Win Everywhere, Anytime' campaign is organized by Thairath to invite Thai football fans to join the excitement of this long-standing global football event, which has been held for over 40 years. Thairath has partnered with key ally Thailand Post Co., Ltd. to prepare a substantial array of prizes for participants. He encouraged all Thai people to come together to cheer loudly, distribute prizes abundantly, and compete for a grand prize pool exceeding 10 million baht.
This campaign continues Thairath Group's collaboration with Thailand Post Co., Ltd., providing the public with easier ways to purchase postcards and participate via two channels: 1. Sending postcards through all Thailand Post branches and mailboxes; and 2. Participating in the competition via 'online postcards' on the Thailand Post's 'Prompt Post' application, as well as the 'Pao Tang' application. Football fans can join the fun from 1 June to 14 July 2024.
"Our grand prize this year is gold worth as much as 6.5 million baht. We warmly invite Thai football fans and Thairath followers to send postcards and join the excitement, enjoy the matches, and simultaneously compete to predict the champion," Mr. Watchara said.
Dr. Danun Supattapan, Managing Director of Thailand Post Co., Ltd., stated that the 'Cheer for Football Loudly, Celebrate and Win Everywhere, Anytime' campaign for Euro 2024 has enhanced convenience in purchasing postcards. Besides buying them from post offices and postal workers nationwide, participants can also buy online postcards via the Prompt Post app. Additionally, a new option is available for customers to join the fun online through the 'Pao Tang' app at the same price of 2 baht per postcard. The campaign runs from 1 June to 14 July 2024.
To increase enjoyment, there will be two prize draws: one after the results of the Round of 16 teams are known, and a second to predict the Euro 2024 champion.
"Postcards can be purchased at any Thailand Post branch, from postal workers, and all postal staff. Participants write or type the name, address, and the single country they support on the postcard and send it by 14 July 2024 at 6:00 p.m. For the online postcard competition via the Prompt Post and Pao Tang apps, users select their supported country, choose the number of predictions, and confirm payment by 11:59 p.m."
The prize draws will be conducted in two rounds as follows:
Round 1
After the Round of 16 results are announced, 16 lucky winners will each receive gold worth 46,000 baht. This prize is for those who submit their entries before 26 June 2024. Winners from Round 1 remain eligible for Round 2 prizes.

A draw for 16 lucky winners predicting the championship team will be held, awarding the following prizes:
