After the government opened registration for citizens to participate in the project, "Khon La Khrueng Plus", via the "Pao Tang" app, through which the government provides half of the financial support aiming to stimulate and revive the Thai economy. Spending began on 29 Oct 2025 GMT+7.
For those who missed registration in the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 1" project, there is still hope in the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" project. After Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, confirmed that relevant agencies will expedite checking and resolving issues for those who missed out on receiving benefits, those who missed Phase 1 might still get 4,000 baht. Registration for "Khon La Khrueng Plus" Phase 2 is expected to be similar to Phase 1 registration.
1. Must be a Thai national.
2. Must be at least 16 years old on the registration date.
3. Must possess a national ID card.
4. Must not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 1 Oct 2025 GMT+7.
5. Must not have had rights suspended or been required to return funds from state projects, including Khon La Khrueng phases 1 through 5.

2. Search for "Pao Tang" in the search bar.
3. Select "GET" or "Install."
4. After installation, open the "Pao Tang" app.
5. Provide consent to manage identity verification data.
6. Prepare your national ID card.
7. Take a photo of the front side of the ID card to verify your identity.
8. Verify the ID number and enter your phone number to receive an OTP code.
9. Enter the 6-digit OTP code received on your mobile phone.
10. Fill in the ID card information.
11. Choose the method to verify your identity.
Registration for "Khon La Khrueng Plus" Phase 2 for those who received benefits in Phase 1 is initially expected to involve clicking a banner to confirm acceptance of the benefit via the "Pao Tang" app. This will await further clarification from the government. .
Pradon Prisananantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that the government plans to allocate part of the 2026 contingency budget to fund "Khon La Khrueng Plus" Phase 2, expected to start in January 2026 GMT+7, with funding close to the over 40 billion baht used in Phase 1. This includes approximately 5 billion baht remaining from Phase 1, all aimed at ensuring the financial flow meets targets.
